The buyer has not received their item and has been most patient and polite. They did not open a case with ebay but has just been communicating with me about this item. After almost a month, they have asked for a refund, which I am happy to do for them, but now that I'm in managed payments, ebay gets the payment and I have no paypal invoice to look back at to know payment details. So how do I refund the buyer? and will I be credited/refunded the ebay fees associated with this sale?

Go to the transaction and cancel it using "problem with buyer's address"- that will trigger a full refund and a credit of eBay fees.

Customer must open "did not receive item" case. Then you can give full refund + EBAY can refund sales tax (sales tax goes to EBAY and they have to refund it). All fees will be refunded to you.

This is what I would do (and have had to do).

Many eBay packages are still in transit and Will arrive ..even after a Month...
I had several of these Very Slow deliveries and since the Tracking showed
In Transit..No Refund was necessary...Check the Tracking...Your item may still arrive at its destination..
