A little over a month after I shipped the item, I got it back today with a label that says unable to forward and return to sender. Since it's been over 30 days, I can't cancel the order. For now I offered to send it to a different address since shipping is only a few dollars for this item, but for future reference, I'd like to know how I'm meant to handle cases like this.

The buyer doesn’t have eBay protection in a situation like that so you can handle with the buyer however you see fit. I would invoice the buyer through PayPal for reshipping.

You can cancel!
cancel the order based on buyers address. I would not resend!
block them and relist.
Sometimes I google map just to confirm a buyers address.

My block list is huge. I have little time for idiots and people that give out bad addresses.
