Buyer files "item not received" then orders another one

I had someone buy something from me and a few days after delivery, they filed an item not received. I reuploaded the tracking number for it as it's been delivered and now the same buyer bought another one with a note saying they're buying another since they didn't get the first one and want rush shipping.

It's like a $14 order. It's a brand new account. Never had an issue before.

Should I go ahead and just fill the order normally or should I let ebay know of the situation?

Up to you, not a big financial risk to you fortunately.  I would think the only real risks are another INR case and/or negative feedback (they can't leave negative on the first one since a case was closed against them, but they could on the second potentially, depending on how it plays out).  I don't want you to live in fear of a negative, though, and cancelling the order depending on how you do it could be far worse for you.  I would personally ship it and not worry about it, and I wouldn't necessarily recommend reaching out to eBay CS as they're likely to give you a bad answer unfortunately.

As far as I know, it's still pending.

The chat assistant said since I put the tracking in again that that's all that's needed from me but I thought it was odd that #1 they would buy again as a new account and #2 be able to buy when doing a dispute.

I'll let the buyer know I can't do rush shipping since the price for that is significantly more than the cost of the item in total and if they didn't receive the first one they should file a claim with the post office, perhaps.

^^^ Well... yes and no. I'd offer that you only mention the 'rush shipping' stuff regarding the second order. Your buyer can't file a claim on a package that you sent... an INR claim through eBay is how they'd handle non-receipt.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Shipping regarding this new order. I said in order to do that the current order would need to be canceled and a new order with the faster shipping option would need to be selected.

I've contacted them recommending filing a case with USPS since that's and on USPS and that with the way the current order is, the faster shipping option is not possible.

I'm going to just ship it like normal and go from there.
