Hello all,
I just am curious if I should be suspicious of a buyer. They purchased a buy it now auction I had listed and paid then I get a message from the buyer requesting that I send it to a different address than the one on there profile. Is this normal?
Thank you!

No. And from my past experience don't unless it is only for a few dollars sale.

If you change the address it will void your eBay seller protection and eBay will side with your buyer if they open an INR claim. Tell your buyer that in order to accommodate their request you'll have to cancel the current transaction and they'll have to repurchase the item and make the address change themself when they pay.

Also verify that the message you received actually came from the same ID as the person who bought the item. If the message came from a different account, not that of your buyer, just ignore it.
There are bot-generated scam messages sent out in bulk to recent sellers of big-ticket items, hoping that the newbie seller recipients will not notice that the message came from a third party, not their actual buyer.

There is a scam going around where a fraudster will just claim he is the buyer and needs you to send the package to an alternate address. These scammers just comb the Completed listings for high dollar goods and hope the seller doesn't look too close at the message to see they are not the buyer of record.

Thank you for the reply. I checked and the message did come from the same person that bought the item but I just responded and said that I can only ship to address on file.

Cancel the sale. Reason: Problem with buyers address
Have the customer correct his address in ebay.
Then ask him to re-purchase the item.

Confirming what @inhawaii stated:
Cancel and Refund and tell the customer to 'fix' their address and they can 'repurchase'. If the item was an auction and took days to complete, you can re-list it as a 'Buy It Now' only and then send a message to the buyer with the 12 digit number of that listing to make it easy for them to locate should they want to re-buy it.
