Buyer didn't read listing correctly....wants to pass

I sold a shirt yesterday  via auction format and the buyer just messaged me today that they want to pass - they thought it was a size large. It clearly states it's a medium. They have not paid yet. What should I do? Very disappointing.

Cancel --choose "Buyer requested" cancel. Then relist.

Sorry this happened to you, but this stuff does happen....cancel, relist, move on....

Hi there I wanted to reply to your eBay message re auction buyer not reading the listing correctly. I hate to say it but you may need to let this one go. Even if they read the listing correctly for some reason they changed their mind and trying to force that round peg into a square hole will create more headaches that just letting it go.  I have to say this is one reason I don't run auctions. I pass on potentially getting more for an item but there can be so many problems. Good luck.

You should cheerfully cancel the order.

Your buyer just saved you the cost of shipping, which you would have lost if paind and then returned it.

Forcing a buyer to pay for an item that they clearly do not want can become an unfortunate and expensive lesson in how eBay actually works.
