The item sold above $900.
Buyer simply filed a return case saying package doesn't have the item and ask for refund.
From this forum I can see previously in many such cases sellers had to refund to those buyers even if they are scammers, thanks to eBay.
I just post here to get a little hope there may be better solution for this kind of scam.

Update: eBay just gave buyer refund after seeing "document from law enforcement". So rediculous.
There is a "send appeal" link on the case's detail page. But after I click that link it leads to
where I cannot find any way to actually file an appeal.

did You know that to claim postal insurance, You need proof of receipt for the item that You bought? So if You buy something second hand theres no way to recover insurance on it....You can only insure items You bought from a store that has a receipt.
