I recently just had an item sold, for half what was listed (comic) without an offer. Notified ebay and they know about the issue but wouldn't explain how this happened.
Anyone have some insight?
*Please note that autoaccept box wasn't checked and I've never used that function or ever will.

No one can buy something for less than what is advertised on the listing. Somehow you must have asked too little.

I hate to say it, and no offense, but you messed up somewhere/somehow.

Geez... lucky they didn't offer only 25% of the price. With that being said, I've seen some weird glitches. Dang.

Either the auto accept did get checked or defaulted to being checked or you clicked accept in place of decline.

They always say they “know about the issue.” To make you feel “heard.”
Honestly, you probably goofed somewhere. With the number of items for sale on EBay, the boards would break under the overload of sellers screaming and threatening to sue.

I would be re-checking my settings, you have a lot in your solds that were Best Offer Accepted.
As stated above, a buyer can not pay less than the listed price unless the offer WAS accepted and if you were unaware I am guessing that box was ticked.

Whenever I hear about something like this I wonder if it is a bug in the phone app vs. the browser app.

Somebody else posted that they have accepted offers, but the buyers are shown that they purchased at full price. So I'm going with glitch on this one.
