I sold something that was delivered today, but the buyer says they mentioned in buyer's notes that they wanted UPS to hold onto it for pickup so the package does not get stolen. The problem is that I did not get this note so I could notify UPS when I made the label.
Am I missing something? I'm considering asking for a screenshot of the message they sent when they bought the item because I'm looking at the order details and there is nothing from the buyer.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using Seller Hub --- on the All Orders page there will be a yellow banner above the order telling you that the Buyer has left a message.

I don't see a yellow banner above the order.

Did the buyer receive the shipment?
The buyer should register for UPS My Choice. For future deliveries, they can then control where their inbound shipments are delivered, including routing them to be held for pick-up at a UPS center or UPS Access Point.

I believe if the Seller purchased the label on ebay, the buyer is not allowed to make Delivery Change Requests on the shipment to eliminate possible redirect fraud - I'm pretty sure it is the same with Fedex too. I think the only way you can allow a buyer to have any control over Delivery Changes is to purchase the item directly through UPS and make sure the box that states something like, "shipped directly or only to the original address" is unchecked(which is the default) - You have to pay approximately $2 extra if you have the box checked, because there is no leniency in where or how it can be delivered.

Basically the buyer can't claim non-delivery if your UPS tracking shows delivery.
Is the buyer claiming that the item was not delivered and that is why you are questioning?
If she is not, don't worry.
If she is, the record will show delivery.
Don't encourage her.
Not even by asking for proof of her demand.
My response to here complaint would be "Thank you for confirming delivery. Enjoy your razzelfrasseler!"
And consider putting her on your Blocked Bidder List.

I wouldn't worry much about it until the buyer says they do not have it - If that happens, there is an investigation process with UPS tracking the item and if it shows it was delivered correctly, your seller protection through ebay should protect you if you respond timely and properly to the case - adding the tracking, etc.
Also, UPS is cracking down on habitual claimers - If a buyer says they did not receive a package and ends up getting a claim paid, then their address will likely get sanctioned and all future deliveries have to be signed for whether it requires a signature or not - It is virtually a "one and done" system anymore - I work for UPS in OMS and contend with these situations daily. If a buyer asks not ship something UPS, I would be concerned to a degree.
