Buyer asked for return, I approved return, item was never sent, how long before time out

Its been 5 weeks at least, buyer never returned and my funds are in limbo land. How long before Ebay returns funds to seller and the return times out?

They (Ebay) keep reminding the buyer to return, but nothing happens, and no place to add my 2 cents to close it.

Ugh! Here we go again!

You're going to have to get on the phone with ebay and get this closed immediately in your favor, do not take NO for an answer, they must do it while you are on the phone with them or they will just lie and say they will take care of it and they will take "notes" and NOTHING will happen.

Yes, call eBay.   Make sure they close in your favor then track Paypal to make sure the money is released back to you.  Keep calling if it doesn't happen.   eBay seems to now have a policy of trying to please everyone, so you should get your money back no problem.

@kipfl1554  When you call eBay CS, refer them  to the MBG which states:

The buyer must ship the item back to the seller within 5 business days from when the buyer starts the return. If the seller shipped a replacement or exchange and the buyer has not shipped the original item back within 20 days of the buyer starting the return, we charge the buyer for the replacement or exchange.

With the eBay policy in front of them, there should be no reason for them not to close the case in your favor immediately.

How much better life would be, if a liar's pants really did catch fire!
