Buyer Requirements Activity Log Non-Functional?

Is anyone else seeing the  Buyer Requirements Activity Log showing nothing?

I haven't seen any entries in mine in 3-5 months.  It always just displays

"There is no information to display at this time."

I just assumed buyers behaving combined with slowing sales was the reason.

Today I added one of my other IDs to my blocked bidder list, hit a BIN on one of this account's items, and got the red warning "Seller says take a hike" (paraphrased) message as expected.

So, Blocked Bidder list is working, but still nothing in the activity log.

Makes me wonder if the other buyer requirements (strikes, violations, etc) are actually working since I can't see any evidence via the log.

Re: Buyer Requirements Activity Log Non-Functional?

It will only show you eBay buyer requirement blocks.  You won't see the names you added to the BBL.

If you block those without a PayPal account, block some international sales, or block based on Unpaid strikes.. if one of them tries to purchase, the block will show on that page.

That's how it works.  You've just had a 3 month run without buyers who fall into your buyer restrictions.

Re: Buyer Requirements Activity Log Non-Functional?

I see 3 entries in mine but they are all from the same buyer. Apparently I don't ship to their country.  I'm surprised I haven't gotten any blocks from buyers with 2 or more strikes.

I don't think that it ever shows when someone you put on your block list tries to buy something. It only works for for blocks that you set up under buyer requirements.

I wanted to look to see where the buyer on my blocked list  is from but can't remember how to do that. They don't seem to sell anything here so even when I searched for them using the advanced form, it didn't give me access to their feedback.  How do you search for a non seller now?

It's something I just never worry about.

Oops. It's 60 days.

I just checked mine and it's showing a buyer block for 'countries in which you don't ship'

Had a suspicion that might be the case. That 3+ months without any entries just didn't seem right.

At least I got validation that BBL works though 🙂
