I listed an item and it had several bidders. (Including the buyer who bid several times over several days). When it sold for over $200 the buyer paid for the item and then sent me a message saying he didn’t know that it wasn’t the brand he thought it was and didn’t know it had been broken although I stated in my listing that I didn’t know who made it and that it had been repaired.
Then he asked me to cancel it.
Ebay says since he paid I can just ship it to him. My question is—-should I cancel it or ship it ? I really can’t believe he didn’t read the listing and kept bidding and says he didn’t know those things.

Send a second chance offer to the next highest bidder. In the messages offer to discount the price a little more. You will probably sell it.

Never an easy decision after item has been sold.
In circumstances such as yours my decision is based on following.
Cancel the order if I want to limit losses to $0.30 + any listing fees.
Ship the item if I want to loose up to 100% of the item value plus 2 lots of postage costs.
