Every day it gets Harder to find middle ground with a Buyer.
Except, this item does not have an "offer" feature, I have no idea what the $2 off represents - the doll is listed for $168 (on sale) with Free shipping.
I did not respond as $45 + free shipping is a "tad' under the $168 + free shipping (we are lowest price both here and Amazon)
So of course now, she wants to know why she cannot make us an "offer" on a different doll??
Well....because it appears my buyer blocks has caught you some how. Buyer wants us to allow her to bid/buy.
She is wanting to buy a lesser priced doll in the same series. Would you let her and add her so the blocks do not apply?? (If sales were not so slow, I would not even consider.............)

No I wouldn't. You probably blocked them for a reason right?

Buyers are now allowed to contact you and make one anyway. It is no longer against policy as it was in the past. That is why they put the button on there.... reply with offer...to make it easier for you...(????)

I would not remove the buyer from my BBL. I would not communicate with the buyer. My gut says no good is going to come of that situation.

@katzrul15 I understand your sales are down lately but personally I would not remove them from your BBL. You are looking for more sales, not another return. This buyer comes across as someone who doesn't actually read the listings. Doesn't matter about sending you an offer it's that the offer was not only unclear, far too low on your doll, but also your listing was free shipping and they wanted to pay for shipping. That just signifies they didn't bother to actually read your listing. That indicates this is a buyer who will receive an item she doesn't want because she didn't fully read the listing. No, don't reply, don't sell to her, just ignore.

Is there a reason in the Block buyer details it does not tell you "who" was blocked - just that someone "was" blocked? There are 2 from today - both just say "too Many Unpaid Item Strikes", but it does not show you the ID. Why is that? I can "assume" it is this buyer, but as the ID is not shown.......
I looked in my BBL and did not see this Buyer ID, so they have to be blocked based on the Buyer Requirements area, not because I added the ID.

Ever since they changed the buyer requirements page I can no longer find the link to see blocked buyer activity. I've been relying on a bookmark.

@katzrul15 , the offer this buyer sent you doesn't make any sense, since she mentioned a $2 discount, but was actually suggesting more than $100 discount.
Since you say she now wants to buy a lesser priced doll, is it possible that she sent you the message with the offer on the wrong listing?
I see that you think she was blocked for having too many UPI strikes. There were a number of reports back when eBay changed the UPI process, of listings that were being "automatically cancelled for non-payment" within minutes of the listing ending, and buyers who were affected by that did get strikes. That may or may not have been what happened, but it's something to consider.
If the lower priced doll she wants is around $45 to $50, then you could consider giving her the benefit of the doubt, but it's entirely up to you.

- Buyers blocked for UPIs have their IDs redacted for privacy.
- You can see IDs for buyers blocked based on shipping exclusions.
- Buyers blocked by the BBL don't show on the activity log.
I don't like this part. If they had too many UPIs and our BBl catches that, why can't we add that ID to our BBL???
Go to Seller account (up by your USER ID) and click on SELLING, from there Select SELLING PREFERENCES and from there Next to "Your Buyers", Click on "Managing who can Buy from You".

I was thinking either that, or the buyer copy & pasted from a message they sent another seller. Probably does it all the time and forgot to change the #s.

The other doll she wants is not $45 either with $2 off....lol But it is closer.
I have not responded to her yet. The other doll is on sale for $54 with free shipping. I was thinking of replying with an offer $43 with $8 shipping (I could change the listing first)? There is a similar doll in the series that has shipping stated.
Thank you for pointing out about the UPIs. She is 1 state over from me, so the shipping is fine with me as free - it will ship under a lb at about 12oz boxed.

BTW - if I add her to my exception list - "none" of the Buyer blocks work then, correct (i.e. the number she could buy, etc?)
Willing to do the one..........not sure how I might feel about others until I could see how this went? Probably no nice way to say that to a buyer?

Correct.
And be wary that she's putting the dollar sign after the price. Could be international using a reshipper. I don't mind reshippers, but I know that's not your favorite situation to be in because of those Lego scammers, so ...
