I t really annoys me the Buyer 100% feedback thing. Just for purchasing? It's meaningless - sellers are unable to give negative feedback - even if the buyer has scammed them, taken 2 weeks to pay, or most importantly bought something & never paid - so you have to re-list in after a week or 2, possible missing a sale because of them (e.g Xmas / Valentines / mothers day buying window) . Rant over!!!

I'm actually delighted to see these posts as there are some that maintain that this never happens. More and more posts and threads are showing up that show that this does happen, evidence that has been said doesn't exist.
Thank you, @*madison and all those other posters, @awd_bliss @the*dog*ate*my*tablecloth @secretsquirrelisnowhere who have stated this.

I'm not trying to start anything. I just know there are some "special" sellers who seem to make this happen. Plus the really annoying ones. I've seen way too many of these threads by both buyers AND sellers to think this is a board legend.
I don't know how anyone could argue this doesn't happen. It's really hard to prove a negative.

Absolutely understood, neither am I, and I am sorry if I seemed to be doing so or putting you in an awkward position as that was never my intention. I simply agreed with you, and I still do. It does happen, and it is incredibly frustrating.
Possibly you as a buyer had that experience, having had a neg you left removed. Then we are put down for not leaving negs but it does no good when it is removed.
I've seen too many of these threads as well to think it doesn't, too. But suffice it to say, some do maintain that nothing is removed that doesn't warrant removal, and I've taken a lot of unjustified flak, as have others, for stating that this does happen, and for posting negs in a responsible and reasonable way, too.
Unfortunately some will argue anything, just to do so, and people see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe, regardless of anything otherwise. Such is life.

Exactly. Not everyone violated feedback policy, or ebay policy, or abused communications, or feedback extorted, or used profanity, and the list goes on and on...so that the neg was removed.

It seems to me that right around the time eBay secretly started allowing buyers to win ALL Not AS Described claims, they also started secretly began allowing sellers to get all negs removed.

A buyer feedback is to let others know the amount of purchases on Ebay and for how long they have been a member. A feedback for a buyer is only there to thank them for providing you with an income, nothing more, nothing less. The days of vindictive bad feedback from sellers has been gone for over a decade.

Then you can at least check out the "Make Offer" buyer's feedback they left for other sellers, which will often indicate whether or not they are worth dealing with.
Exactly.
It's not Feedback Received that we should be checking , it's Feedback for Others that tells the tale of the entitled/mad/ sketchey- both buyer and seller.

2 stories I had.
1) Seller sold item he didn't have. Used "buyer request" as reason to refund. I did not request and I negged him. It was removed. eBay told me I cannot leave feedback after requesting the cancellation. I pointed out that I did not request a cancellation. Yes you did. The seller told us you did.
2) Bought an item that showed up broken. I opened a return. The seller sent messages outside of the case, and I did not realize this. He strung me along with "don't send it back, that wouldn't be worth it since it is broken. Give me a day or 2 to see if I can find one around here". Followed with "I'm filing an insurance claim so you don't need to return it." When the time came, he closed the return since I had not sent it, and since it closed without a return I was out the feedback. I did a chargeback with my credit card and not only got my money back, but PayPal made him pay the chargeback fee and return shipping. He got the deserved neg removed. Now with me, no matter what, the seller is gonna pay to ship the broken stuff back to them.

I am more concerned about sellers 100% feedback and being worthless.
You are not alone. Others have posted that they question sellers with 100% feedback, knowing that negative feedback may have been removed. The fact that you can wind up in a bad transactions through no fault of your own, with careful vetting, seems to point to this being the case.

Ah, yes, the "special" sellers. Negs mysteriously vanish. Scrubbed feedback.
Actually that has been disputed as well, but that does not mean it is not true.
