Business seller posing as private.

Spoiler
Why does ebay have a strict seller policy but never back it up.
There is a seller on ebay who is 100% selling items to fund a lifestyle. They are very arrogant about it and what they sell is mostly rubbish. They are clever with their descriptions and offer no comeback at all. Infact, many people have been ripped off with their second hand vintage sales.
Non refundable deposits are required on these multi thousand pound sales.
They have been reported to ebay many many times by various buyers and enemies alike but still they continue to list items and ebay seem to let them get away with it.
They often remove items early to avoid fees and even sell the item away from ebay, then change the wording and titles of their sold item to another.
They have been reported time and time again  via the ebay report links for approx 2 years now, and even phone calls have been made to ebay, so they can be reported directly, still nothing. Of course ebay have their history and with sales of over £80k surely they can see this as a business seller.

That seems to be a UK thing, so you might need to post on that board.

Wouldn't eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers, if used properly and in a timely fashion, cover at least some of these issues?

As fern*wood posted above, your concerns should be addressed to an audience of your fellow ebay.co.uk members in order to garner the very best responses for your situation. eBay.com just doesn't have the same requirements as ebay.co.uk in regard to your issues.

Just don't deal with the seller.

If buyers have problems they can file claims.

Sorry guys, I didn't realise I had posted this to .com. I will add it to the relevant board at .co.uk.

The point is not about the **bleep** they sell, it's really about them trading as private sellers, when clearly they are business sellers, flouting all rules, avoiding fees and basically raising the middle finger to ebay and any buyers. Ebay is just the tip of their crooked ways.

Thanks for your comments.
