Let’s phase it folks Ebay is not the same as it was at 1999 back then we could buy sell exchange bid and purchase things at the prices that we knew were what we paid for and we got paid if we were selling in the right manner now, it fees gone up so much and hidden fees, and the promoting your deal to get just charged more when it seems like they’re basically removing your items are not letting them be seen unless you promote so they can make more money. This is all about Ebay anymore. They don’t care about the customers they don’t care about our bitters or sellers. They just want more money and what they’re doing is beyond shady I am so sick of Ebay I’m sick and tired of. They’re taking money from us the sellers and taking items from us as well because they are not making enough money  I’m done with this crap. I think it’s horrie Think they have to sneak something over on us just to make more money.  Why can’t the old Ebay come back whom I love doing business with and we’re good about their policies and they actually paid you and you got the items you bid on and it wasn’t overcharged and hidden fees and being charged 30% to sell something if you promote it, that’s ridiculous Ebay you should be ashamed of yourselves

1. There are no hidden fees.

2. No one gets charged 30% fees.

3. eBay does not take items from you.

Let's phase it, it's just a phase eBay is going through.

The fact that Ebay offers a platform to connect sellers with junk and buyers who are interested in buying said junk. That has never changed since 1999.

Unfortunately, the world is evolving and with new technology, which eBay does invests in, and no matter who the company is, often the cost is passed on to the consumer of their product. I started selling at the same time and find myself wishing for the old days except I remember the challenge of fewer photos included in a listing. There were often times it took me too long to do a listing because of all the details that needed to be written out in the description. Now I don't like the item specifics as they may not meet the criteria for my item. I hate the reminders that I need to add more item specifics when I can't. Granted eBay is taking more fees which I question at times but everything seems to cost more these days. Looking at any other selling venue and they all charge for their services. I was on Etsy for a few years and I would gladly have paid more if the site wasn't down, falling apart, dropping items and losing things.  There were many things that were wonderful in the good old days but in a few years this  will be the good old days .

I wasn't the same as I was in 1999, either, and I'm nowhere near as complicated as eBay.

I dont care about bitters either. Name one thing that has remained exactly the same for twenty five years, including yourself.

Thanks for letting us know.

Glad you could vent your frustrations.

Now end your listings and seek the departure gate to reduce your stress.

EBay would have gone out of business if they hadn't changed with the times.  Their business has to remain competitive and profitable while pleasing stockholders, sellers, buyers and employees.

That's not necessarily true. Look at MySpace.
