I intermittently attempt to use bulk edit. It never saves changes made to the main description. It does work for item specifics etc. Changes work perfectly well on individual listings, but not on bulk edit. I have 100s to do.
Any advice?

It was poorly designed by people who didn't have much experience selling on ebay. And it behaves erratically.
My big gripe is when, say working on 100 items, I have to scroll down and then.... bang! Blank page which rarely reloads properly.
My only advice is to plug along at it. Use it for what works and revise individually when forced to. I hope someone else has better advice for both of us.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but the bulk editing is a pet peeve of ours.

Funny thing is that we were told we had to pay more money to ebay for 'improvements' like the bulk edit. I want my money back! LoL

None of the bulk editing tools have ever worked for me. They do work ONE ITEM AT A TIME, but that is not how I define the term BULK! I would use it all the time if it worked as described when it was first introduced.

I always have problems with the bulk feature - never does all of the entries, sometimes just stops (remedy is to end it and try again clicking on "continue with previous listings) and always says there are errors in the listings. I have found that if you do only 25 at a time it is at least manageable.

I'm not currently having any problem, but in the past I've had trouble getting it to commit changes too.
What I've found is when I did 500 listings at a time I had issues occasionally. So I dropped it down to about 200 or so at a time and things went fine. I don't know if that will help you, but try fewer listings and see if it works for you.
