Box set condition question

I want to sell a box set of 4 books. within the box is series containing 3 books, as well as a prequel. the original books are unopened, good as new. the prequel however is moderately used. should i sell all four in the box, or would i be better off selling only the 3 unopened books as a set without the box?

I agree with Livadia.  I think selling them, all four, as the boxed set will be a better listing, with 3 unopened and one moderately used.  Be explicit and specific in the description and pictures as Livadia said, too.

Re: Box set condition question

@ian.n4 -  I understand your concern, but I'd be inclined to sell them as they were purposedly packaged -- as one unit/set.  Just be sure to describe them well so it's clear what the buyer will be getting and include lots of photos.
