Booted again for a license plate

More info would be helpful, otherwise all we can do is speculate.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

We seem to be getting closer and closer to a situation where nobody is responsible for what they did but we are all responsible for what somebody else did. - Thomas Sowell

Booted again for a license plate

OP has a completed listing sold, for a license plate which stated:

"You couldnt use obvious profanity or acronyms which were offensive."

OPs  license plate contained such an acronym.

My guess is another plate was pulled, for offensive and/or profane obscenties (even though it was an acronym)

Again, that's just my guess.

And, byw, the thread says he was booted "again".

Most of us advise to never relist an item (or type of items) which got pulled before.

Multiple policy violations can be very harmful here.

Did you violate the license plate policy?

"Collectible vehicle license plates that are at least 3 years old. Sellers need to clearly state the plate's age in their listing description". Your 1970 Texas license plate did not state the age clearly in the listing.

Were you listing a license plate that had inappropriate language? In your 1970 Texas license plate listing, not only did it contain inappropriate language but you went out of your way to EMPHASIZE that it contained inappropriate language.

So this has happened to you before, and you chose to do it again? 🙂

You would have been fine if you had not gone into a detailed explanation of the plate. I think eBay is overreacting, but their site, their rules.

Let's All Get Naked and Fart?

ewwww

But seriously, if it were that plate, the listing would not still be visible.  It sold, and apparently has not been removed from the site.  So maybe it was a different listing and a different reason.
