Hi,
Does anybody know of reputable book sellers or anywhere else that I can find information about two books. I've gone on bookfinder, rare book sites and many other sites and I can't find these titles.
Thank you!

Narrow it down... what titles are you looking for?

Try the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS

Titles?
How old are they? If they are public domain they might be on archive.org or gutenberg.org

In Google search: Try putting the exact title in quotes, along with the authors last name in quotes.
In my experience, that finds 99.99% of known books. Although I have a couple of books google never indexed..

Thank you for the replies!
I wrote the post fast and stupidly didn't elaborate. I can't find how much they would cost. I saw The Richest Woman in Town on google and Amazon UK, but not the price. The other one is an A-C Manual by the Pullman Company, 1945. It has a seal of the War Department / Pentagon and a stamp on the side pages stating War Department, Pentagon Library. I find other dates but not 1945 and that includes the seal and stamp.
There was a site but you have to register for a certain amount of money a month.

So these are books that you have and are wanting to sell, not books you're wanting to buy?
I found The Richest LADY In Town, quite a few copies for sale. And I am wondering if that other one was published by the US Government?

Thank you for your reply. It's the Richest Woman in Town by Bellamann.
For the other book, I didn't see anywhere that it was the gov't that published it. It says the Pullman Company, Yard Department. Do you know, by chance, any rare book companies that I can contact who would answer questions or point me in the direction of where I can info on these two books?

oooohhhhhhh....very nice! I'm drooling...can you tell? 😂
WWII Home Front + Transportation collectibles + railway memorabilia
Were it me, I would decide on a high-ish price and list as fixed price with best offer. Were it me, I would list it at $150 w/BO and see what happens, as long as the condition bears out that price. Obviously the better the condition, the higher the price.
That said, something like that will probably sit for a while (maybe a VERY LONG while) before it sells...but it WILL sell. The right person has to come along.
You could always sell it to me for $5 😃 just kidding, of course!

Yeah, I saw that, but you have to register to see the price. Thanks!

Yes, that’s a huge list! I went through it a few weeks ago and the book I have isn’t in there, unfortunately.
