Book Listings not showing & scored low on shipping costs on books

Hello sellers---I sell mostly books. I decided to check on a few to see where they showed up-- that is were they early or late in the listing line. I checked 3 books  and put in the title and checked hardcover.  None showed up. They were A History of Croatia, Kraus Project, and Perfect Grammar.  None of these showed up in the listings. I tried just using main words like Croatia, Kraus and Grammar. Still did not show.  Second issue. I scored low on 2 books sold on shipping costs.  There is no seller discount on books. They paid what I paid.  I know USPS rate have gone up but it appears that I am being blamed.  Any suggestions ?

Found your History of Croatia listed 21st out of 27 examples now for sale so did not look for your other titles.

Your feedback, photos and description are much better than those offered by the book megasellers but eBay always gives them precedence as they provide volume sales none of us little folk can compete with.

Checking hardcover seems to be why you didn't see your example when searching. Perhaps you need to revise the Format item specific, changing it from "Hardcover with Dust Jacket" to simply "Hardcover"? Can always add "Hardcover with Dust Jacket" as a custom item specific if you like.

When I searched "Barnett Frummer" your item came up first in Best Match, and the "hardcover" binding selection also worked when I was in the Books category.

Why not offer free shipping and add the shipping cost to your asking price for the books?  Then buyers won't be allowed to rate your shipping cost; you'll get an automatic "5".

Once in a while, the Ground Advantage Cubic rate is lower than the Media Mail rate for heavier books, so double-check that when setting up the listing.
