The Bold Listing Fee is pre-checked when you relist an item and you had used the bold listing before.
The Bold listing is pre-checked if you cut and paste a title or an item from the sold listings and that seller had used a Bold Title.
Ebay please rectify this by clearly showing the title is in Bold, rather, or in addition to, a small prechecked box.
Sellers, use caution, you don't have to manually check the box, it can be pre-checked under the above circumstances.
Many sellers are having this problem and being charged for Bold titles at $2.00 when they may only have a $3.00 item they are selling.
So when you sell similar and the bold was pre-checked by another seller (which you do not say) and you copied the title or used sell similar you do Not see that title in bold so it is not apparent and this is a problem.
If ebay fixed this there would be a lot less calls from members requesting refunds for bold lisitings fees when it was not clearly apparent to sellers of the charge being incurred. The small x is just not enough. Ebay needs to be clear on charges. This bold listing fee has increased in the number of problems since the new relist page was put into effect and bold listing is not an option under relist. If you are having problems with bold fee charges, call ebay.

The listing fee is shown before you confirm the listing.

it's right there above the list now, or whatever the verbiage is. It would probably pay for sellers to learn to check that.........because there can be other things that are charged for.

As fast as screens change around here it is always good advice to tell other to PAY ATTENTION to the screens. ALL details of the screens. Ebay changes things without notice and expect us to learn as we stumble across them.
The GREAT thing about the listing form on Ebay is that just above the button you click on to post the listing, Ebay tells you how much your listing fee will be. If it doesn't look right to you, DON'T post the listing. Go back an review your form first to see what caused the fee to be higher than you anticipated. Correct whatever you need to BEFORE posting, because once you post, you owe the fee. Correcting the listing after the fact will not get you a credit.
