Blocking a buyer question

A comics "buddy" of mine has just done the most despicable thing on FB, and without going into details, I responded in kind.

He knows I'm a comics seller on Ebay, and I'm a little worried he may try to sabotage me.  Is there a way to block him without his first trying to buy one of my books?  I only have a real name, not a user name, but the nastiness of his posts lately have been obvious attempts at trying to get to me, and I want nothing to do with him.  (If you're curious, in a nutshell it's got to do with my having two trans children)

I guess on the plus, if he DOES mess with my account, I can call the local police, as I've been to his house, but I'd just rather do this the easy way.

Thanks tons.

Re: Blocking a buyer question

My closest friend out of the gay guys I know and appreciate is a full member of our church.

We are Catholics, not sure it's the easiest denomination in which to live as a LGBT person, I guess some of the elderly people coming to Mass on Sundays may not be aware of it, when you are in your 80s or further it's probably much more difficult to grasp things, the others don't have a problem with him

Sorry you had to deal with that. I was in the Army 11 years, half of that as an instructor, and see no reason someone's gender identity has anything to do with anything. As soon as we got over bickering about women in combat arms we found something else just as pointless to waste our time on.

Re: Blocking a buyer question

That is so sad, and I am so sorry for what your family is putting you through.  I don't understand how a peson can put conditions on loving someone.  It's a total contradiction.

I belong to a group on Facebook for parents of transgendered children, and if you'd like to become a member, shoot me a message with your FB info.

I'm not a religious person, but you, your daughter, and her partner have my best wishes.  If you ever need to talk, I'm available.

Re: Blocking a buyer question

Google what he sells, and on the side of the ebay page is "item location", plug in his zip code and you will be able to narrow it down to everyone in that zip code who sells the same items. Just block them all. Sorry you met such a bigot.

Re: Blocking a buyer question

You might call that in.

Name, address, zip...they can pull it up but they might not give it to you.

If they won't give you the user name ask they at least put your fears of personal retailiation in to your file so it can be refernced at a latter date if needed.
