This real doozy of a winner in China bid, won then messaged me many times about high shipping cost. Then asked me to cancel when I told him the price was set by our postal system. This was 6 months ago. He did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I cancelled them both. After his 2nd "screw me over" I blocked him. Now 2 weeks later he messages me asking to have the block removed so he can bid on 2 other items! What nerve. How did he get thru the block? I never wanted to hear from him again. What should I do to make sure blocked fools can't reach me? Thanks much.

Unfortunately, the block only works on "fools" who haven't already contacted you before. If you already have a transaction or even just communications, the block doesn't work. Perhaps there's a time limit and eventually he won't be able to contact you. Meanwhile, try to just ignore him.

It seems when a 'buyer' has a transaction with the seller, they are still able to contact him, block or not.

There's a place almost hidden in 'preferences' which has to checked marked- otherwise, blocked bidders can always still contact you.

Have you checked off in site preferences that blocked buyers can't contact you?

Thanks for the clarification; I was wondering what the time limit was.

I wonder if it's on day 28 and another email is sent using an existing message, does that start the 30 day clock again?

If they are harassing you call eBay CS and report them to trust and safety.
You can prevent blocked buyers from messaging you in your buyer requirements. If you haven't already, select the box that says "Don't allow blocked buyers to contact me." then click the submit button. They shouldn't be bale to send you any new messages on your items, but will be able to contact you for up to 30 days on any existing purchases or messages.

Actually IIRC it's 60 days now because they allow buyers to "request" returns for up to 60 days.

Well poo. I guess annoying buyers can bother sellers for longer now. Another reason to call CS and report them to trust and safety I guess...

well this "pos" messaged me again last night. Now feel harassed but not reporting. He'll have to keep it up before I become that fed up. Very curious about what he wrote but didn't open it. Delete delete delete. Guess I just have to ignore, delete, repeat as needed. Creeps me out though.
