Recently, I acquired a collection of microslides (40 boxes worth) from a former Biologist from the 1950/60's. In it are tissue, bone, cartilage, organ samples of various common animals, i.e. chickens, rabbits, rats, etc. Are these ok to sell on eBay? I assume so, as I looked at the restricted items listed by ebay. Thoughts?
Thanks.

It's a complex subject, you can sell these things if you a) follow all the rules and b) properly list them with the required information.
Not sure if you read everything on this page:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/wildlife.html
Even if you get evrything right you may still run afoul of a combination of overly enthusiastic busybodies and eBay staff who don't fully understand the rules themselves.

I would assume it's okay to sell here, considering there are a number of similar items listed (search under "prepared microscope slides") in the Healthcare, Lab, and Life Science category.
Brings back memories of high school / college biology lab practical exams. ![]()
