Bidders

There needs to be a way to set up our accounts, to where bidders with a (0) items purchased history cannot bid, I've had to relist and re-promote 3 items that people with a 0 bid on and then never pay and certainly never communicate, I'm certain I'm not the only one having this issue and there should absolutely be a number to call when trying to address "help" on ebay, I mostly maintain my account from my phone and there is no viable way to make DIRECT contact over issues

Re: Bidders

It is troubling when i see sellers eying new buyers with suspicion rather than welcoming them to the platform.

Re: Bidders

Maybe it stems from the fact that there's no shortage of sellers who come here asking how to block 0 FB bidders or sellers who complain that they have the most problems with the new kids on the block.

Re: Bidders

And how would you have felt if someone had first refused to sell to you because of low feedback?  Everyone must start at zero and everyone deserves a chance.

Re: Bidders

There never has been nor probably never will be.  Every account starts out with a zero purchase history just like every new customer walking into a B&M store for the first time has a zero purchase history with that store.  It is your job just as it is the job of every employee of that B&M store to try to make that customer want to develop a purchase history with that store.

Re: Bidders

Upon viewing the item that you have listed, I recommend that you list it at a fixed price and use the IPR option.  Not all items are suitable for sale at auction.

Re: Bidders

My latest  "buyer" with a 0 feedback rating  bid 14 times on the item and then never paid.   The original poster has reason to be irritated even though we have to accept it to sell here.  If I could I would also block bidders who retract bids but thankfully I am coming to the end of my ebay selling days soon so it won't be a problem for me anymore.
