An 'issue' is affecting our promoted listings. We should have almost 4000 promoted. But it's actually less than 200.
We figure it's cost us $5000 in sales. And counting.

I spent the weekend promoting my listings.Page by page.I found I had to process each page two or three times for them all to take.Still no sales.

Spent time yesterday adjusting my listing as well because when they'd show up in search (which is rare) they would behave oddly. For each of my listings I would click, it kept taking me to the same listing. Item did not matter.
So going through my listings, I noticed that ALL of the UPC codes I entered were all blanked out. Just removed. No reason.
So time spent, again, re-entering those codes. It works now, but the money I am spending toward promotions seems wasted since USED items are listed in search returns PAGES before my listing with the "sponsored" tag.
Things are broken on the ebay end, and these are complaints people have been posting on these forums for literally years. Years of the same complaints, no replies from the company and life moves on.

Well there you are ebay reps and coustomer service people...oh and of coarse the big wigs there. You keep trying to improve your site for nothing. It wasnt broken till you started to do updates and new ways to tell us how to sell. Taken the number of listings away for years in a row and raise rates on everthing from fvf to store costs and of coarse part of shipping since we must be making bank off of it. How about putting the link so sellers can directly call and complain about your new changes that DO NOT BENIFIT SELLERS AT ALL. You have the abiltity to do that. So put a direct link so we can be heard. If you want to save ebay from a total disaster.

Ebay has fixed this issue for us. It took several CS calls and almost a week wait (after the first call). But this was obviously happening for awhile before we caught it.
CS was great, no complaints on them. This was a tech issue.
But the result is that we show almosty a 50% drop in sales from last year and we have at least 25% more items up. So our actual losses for the CHRISTMAS SEASON are about a 65% drop. Loss = $7000 at least.
I guess we need to wait on the dental implants. Ouch. Thanks for that.

Promotion manager has been iffy for awhile. It sometimes sets the promotion and sometimes not - I just set my promotion when I list or relist my item.
I don't see how you feel it costs you $5000 in sales. Even if you have a sponsored listing - it doesn't guarantee a sale. Many people are put off by promoted listings.
