Best way to try and get feedback removed?

So I recently got a neutral left because an item arrived way late. I even shipped the item earlier than I needed to(she bought it late on a Friday and I shipped it Saturday). It should have gotten to her Tuesday or Wednesday but instead took almost 2 weeks because of the post office. I had read somewhere that eBay was protecting sellers from bad feedback if it was caused due to a mishap with USPS. What's the best way to get it removed? Calling?

try the media pages  or the have them call you.

They will still most likely let it stand if it is more than 30 days after the estimated delivery date..
