Below standard fees.

I believe they end at the beginning of the next month after you become above standard........so Dec lst they should go away.

When your next invoice comes due you should have the new lower rate on it.

Not every account is billed on the first of the month. I have two that are billed on the 15th and one that is billed on the 20th.

Ebay evals sellers on the 20th of every month for the previous month.  So on November 20th they eval'd us for the period ending October 31st.

When they eval you on the 20th and they find that your status has changed, good or bad, it isn't reflected on your account until the first of the following month.  So using the example above, being eval'd for the period ending October 31st, the actual eval happening on November 20th, any change in status is reflected on your account on December 1st.

So if your Seller Dashboard is now showing that your seller status is now above average, then as of December 1st, your penalty fees will stop.

And GOOD JOB, it is hard to work  out of those penalty fees.

Hello,mam98031.

As I was searching for answers on this subject and 2 hours on phone with 4  call center agents proved fruitless, I ask if in addition to a 30 cent ad fee, a below performance fee and a regular seller fee PLUS a $4.18 promoted listing fee because they returned my account back to above standard which re-attaches the promoted listing % back to listings plus reinstatement to Global Shipping Program.

Any explanation would be appreciated.

IDK what a 30 cent ad fee is?

Since you are in MP, if you are talking about the 30 cent per transaction fee, that has nothing to do with whether you are below standard or above standard.  Everyone is charged a 30 cent per transaction fee.  Which by the way is EXACTLY the same as what we all paid when we were in PP.

Below Standard penalty fees are 5% of your normal FVF.  So if you are paying 12.55% normally, they will add on an additional 5% to that for falling below acceptable levels in seller performance.

Promotional fees are completely separate and the seller is in control of how much in FVF you pay in addition to the regular fees when they want to use the Promotional option.

Below standard fees.

Thanks for explanation on below standard performance penalizations final value fees.

So now, I’m in process of calculating each transaction fee breakdown because some are 12.47%, 12.64% and just tonight sold a purse at 14%. I’m thinking it’s because some transactions have state taxes? Can you what best, easiest way to make sure final value fees are appropriate?

TIA

It doesn't fluctuate like that.  I think what you are doing is including the 30 cent per transaction fee in your calculations.  The 30 cent fee is the same if you sell something for $1 or $1000, so pull that out of your calculation.  You should be at a consistent 12.55% + 30 cent transaction fee.
