Being charged 35 cent Insertion Fee for editing listings and for new listings way below 50.

ebay is randomly throwing in 35 cent insertion fees. I"ve only listed 9 things total in the past two months. All 30 day BIN, no store. Some fees are 0. Some are 35 cents in no particular order. Even more strange. I went to bulk edit all 9 listings and ebay wants to charge me an insertion fee for 7 of them.

This issue was reported on the boards in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Seems it's back. Scam or glitch or ? I know I can call to have the fees removed but cringe at the thought of having to call and go through the scripts and hassle.

Anyone else have this? I haven't been here for two years and have no idea who the mods are.

Yes -- I was just charged $3.50 for modifying 15 listings! All I did was change the prices on them!

What the heck!

And now the telephone support link is telling me "This contact channel is temporarily unavailable" !!!!!

How nice for them -- how is it eBay feels when sellers ignore their buyers ???

Hmmmmmm... looks like a case of "do as I say, not as I do"

What a day...........I wouldn't mind paying insert fees if I thought i would get sales....... 1 sale in 3 months is so sad...( I have had no problems BUYING today though)

You know it's funny. But why is it that I see so many complaints on here about Ebay and yet...I NEVER get any of the glitches that you folks seem to. Am I just lucky??? Nothing. In fact Ebay is going swimmingly for me right now even with managed payements. I literally get paid out now and money into my bank acct in THREE days not four. Started happening a week ago! Ebay should not be charging you to edit your items. If this is happening it is a GLITCH. CALL THEM PEOPLE! Do not complain here. No one is going to see your complaint but other sellers and we can't help you! CALL THEM to fix this. And Ebay has now even changed my free store listings monthly from 100 to 250. They are doing that with ALL sellers with stores. YAY!!!!!!

What a great idea -- call them! Gee, why didn't I think of that? Oh wait, I did. Did you happen to read my posts? When I follow the help links to call them (or have them call me), I get a message telling me that "This contact channel is temporarily unavailable". And when I call their help line number directly, I get a recording telling me that I need to follow the help links to get in phone contact with them.

Sorry for my COMPLAINING, but I am trying to see if others are experiencing this as well.

Glad to hear all is going well for you, though...

I just had the same thing happen. I was bulk-editing the handling time only on my listings. Of 200 listings, 2 of them wanted $.35 insertion fees each. (Items are already listed. Why the charge?)

I ended up canceling the changes until I have more time to deal with it.

@Anonymous  Can this glitch be fixed?

@albertabrightalberta

Sadly this has been happening for a while now. Since the phones aren't being answered, I am hoping someone...ANYONE from Ebay can find a solution to this:
