Hi to all the old timers:) Missed you! Thinking about coming back just to sell some stuff in lots to resellers. Tax man says my little house is now in a desirable area and has doubled my taxes:(. Need to make a few bucks.
Just noticed a previous buyer of mine is doing very well here. Close to 200k pos feedbacks. USA seller, used goods - what a shock! The one unusual thing I noticed is when you click on her store, she has a button for "consignment" . From there the offer appears to be a real option. How is Ebay allowing this?... or is it allowed?
Also, any other major changes in the last 14 months or so you can think of offhand? Thanks!

As a returning seller, your customers' cleared payments will be Held against your performance for up to 21 days (shorter if you are US based).
You can use the Held monies to buy a Paypal shipping label, which may have a discount from PO counter prices.
And PO shipping rates go up this month at USPS and Canada Post.

Sorry to hear about the property taxes. As a homeowner I always do my best to drag down surrounding property values.
You could make extra cash and help the property tax problem by breeding cockroaches. They sell for good money on ebay as reptile food and a local infestation might bring tax relief. You might even qualify for an agricultural exemption.
Just look at ebay search results

Hahaha!!! Nice link. It's too you know what cold for roaches here. We don't even have any poisonous snakes here... Now, maybe... iceworms?
Friend of mine was in banking. She quit when I was away for a few years in the keys. Came back and ran into her in the grocery store the same day she was on the front page of the paper. Raising WORMS in 5 old junk mobile homes they had hauled onto their property. Net over 350k her first year!

Worms are valuable. Google "vermiculture". If you have a yard where nothing grows a small introduction of worms can multiply quickly and change the chemical composition of the soil.

Yes they are. My friend with the mobile homes had several levels of raised beds in each one. Daily, Fed Ex comes and gets the little styrofoam container cases full of fishing maggots that sell all over the world.
In their spare time, they raise hops... they live on a farm owned by Budweiser parent.. 3k acres and get a tidy income from that too.. + no rent, no taxes... what a life....
I thought about it but... zillions of flys need to be raised to get worms/maggots raising... not...

You got me thinking about it. I mean, its a reality... how can I get maggots on Ebay?
A few miles outside of Moscow, this grittier, more “real” Idaho comes through.
Take, for instance, a grocery store in Kendrick, where one can pick up almost anything.
“We Got it!” proudly proclaims a sign taped to the counter in front of the cash register. “It” apparently, consists of ice, worms and maggots, with the latter two stored in the beer cooler.
The cashier laughs at the expressions on our faces.
“It’s for fishin,’” she explained.

A one eyed worm can net good money if you know how to use it right.

Thanks! I'll look up those topics today. I read the spring seller update but you know, sometimes there's more to the story than what they tell you there....
Yes, shop out back still seems full but more stuff I've accumulated thru 20 years than inventory to sell. I donated 90% of what I had.
I did keep some smalls though and have enough to sell in several lots. I can't seem to quit hitting the thrift stores on a daily basis - but all of them here now use computer assisted pricing and those real value finds are a thing of the past:(
Looks like some sellers are still doing well selling junk drawer lots.

In 2018 we also had a Summer Update so be sure to read than one as well plus the regular Fall Update.

You are 2 updates behind.
We had a "Summer Update" and a "Fall Update" last year.
