All of these various bugs are really starting to aggravate me beyond control. I complained about this on on another Post but wanted to bring it up again as this problem just cost me money AGAIN.
I just listed an item and immediately realized I wanted the price higher. I went back and edited the listing for price raising it by $6. I forgot to triple check that the edit took hold as I've seen this problem happened to me before. And an hour later the total quantity of the item I have for sale sold. There were four of them so I lost $24 total. Not that Great amount of money to some of you wealthier eBay sellers and probably not much money at all to what I am sure is the very well-paid staff at eBay but it bothers me nonetheless.
I can't tell you how many different times I have edited a listing only to see later that the edit didn't work. I don't have enough time in the day to list all of the new items I would like to, I certainly don't have enough time to go back and double and triple check every single edit I've done. And yes sometimes I have gone back, found the edit didn't work, and edit it again only to later see the second edit didn't work either.
Sometimes ,like today, I only noticed this problem after the item sold.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Not exactly the same problem, regarding price. But yes, from time to time. I always try to make it a habit to double check every listing after revision. It's a pain in the butt, but I still do it. Yes, there are still listings that slip thru my fingers. And yes I have sold items in those listings that screw me over with either price, quantity, or shipping service. I just deal with it. It stinks, but I'm sure you already know that's how eBay is. I'm sure if you look at my listings now you'll probably find one with a price mistake or two. If you have some time to waste, you can always call and complain to eBay. One in a million chance you might get a sympathetic agent and credit you some fees.

I find a lot of the eBay employees I talk to sympathetic. I'm betting it's management and people that actually have more control over the situations that are the problem. I figure if there is a discussion about these problems on their community page MAYBE someone will take notice and do something. This system is already so slow. I waste so much time waiting. I don't understand why I can use a free system like Craigslist and load pictures in a snap and pages change in the blink of an eye and everything works so well for no cost whatsoever but on the System I pay gobs of money for everything has to be slow and discombobulated.
I even had an eBay employee (I'm here not 100% certain it was an employee but I believe it was) ask me in a post why I still was on eBay with all my complaining. I'm rather married to eBay now and the divorce would be extremely hazardous. I have spent a lot of time (and I mean a lot) and money building a business on this platform. It would be more difficult for me to switch out of eBay then it would be to move from one brick-and-mortar store to the another.
I am stuck here. Like a 1920s sharecropper just had to grin and bear it because there's no other land for me to go to without harming my family. lol. (I know it's not quite like that but I am so aggravated)
Now that I've talked about how slow everything seems to be I need to add that I don't have time to doublecheck and triple check (yes sometimes it happens twice in a row on the same item) every edit I make. The only reason I'm taking time to complain about it so much is that I hope so badly that someone in eBay will straighten this **bleep** out. I don't even have enough time in the day to get my new listings done. It's just aggravating aggravating aggravating aggravating so much to the point that if I was an emotional person I would probably cry every morning that I woke up.
Please fix these problems. EBay is a fantastic idea but for the money we are paying for permission to use it things should work more smoothly. Maybe get the tech guys from craigslist.

Yes, I am having this problem. I never used to have this happen. I would say it started about a month ago and it is intermittent. Sometimes I edit a listing hit submit and then notice the price I had just submitted wasn't updated in the listing. So, for about a month now I have to pull up each listing after a revision to check that the edits took.
It is very annoying and time consuming. There have been a number of other glitches going on with Ebay too. For the most part, if you wait 2-5 days they will get resolved without having to call and wait on hold for an hour. I had a bad experience with Ebay Customer Service recently so I will be avoiding them like the plague for awhile.

Yes, all my edits to better conform with this years change in usps shipping dimensions. i shrank the sizesof a few shipping packages so they would be under 1 cubic foot. i look a couple months later and they are all back to the way they were. maybe because i ended them and relisted them? It is too much work to re-do all these edits.
