I am having a horrible experience with Valet.
I'd never heard of eBay Valet until it popped up while I was creating the listing for my mint condition iPad Mini 4 with cellular. I thought it would be a great way to sell it without having to deal with all the details. This is an item that should sell very quickly. It's been almost a month and it still hasn't been listed or even evaluated.
I called Customer Service and was told my listing was accellerated to "high", but after a couple days, still no change in status. So I called again today and requested my iPad be returned to me. The Customer Service people are great, but have no way other than email to speak to the Valets.
I have high hopes that my iPad will be returned to me in the same condition as I sent it to them, but I have a feeling it won't.
I was with eBay from the beginning, but deleted my account after the fraud just got too bad. They always sided with the buyer, even when that buyer had a history of buying expensive items and then returning them claiming he never ordered them. Back then, you were out the shipping and eBay didn't care. I came back recently after hearing that it had improved. I will be closing my account again once I receive my iPad back.
