I "returned" to eBay middle of last year and at that time, it appeared to me as if eBay offered (by default) to auto re-list a listing and reduce the price by N% each time. I would like to do that but I can't find it now. I see where there is the re-list checkbox but I don't see any indication that it will reduce the price or by how much, etc.
I plan to re-list some items and drop the price each time for maybe 4 tries and then just give them to Goodwill (or trash them). I'm mostly doing eBay to avoid tons of clutter and unused junk around the house.
