Automatic System that emails file to buyer

I have a system that automatically emails a file to a buyer after a purchase. This can be used to email pdf instructions on a product you sold, a picture, digital coupons, etc. I use it for a website I have. When a purchase is made and paid with paypal, the file is sent to the paypal email address of the buyer. I'm thinking of maybe selling this system.  Is this something that could be of interest?

Realistically it sounds too much like you would be spamming them just becuase they made a purchase from you. Plus when you get an unsolicited email - as that would be - the LAST thing you want to do is open an attachment on an unsolicited email. 

Definitely you can send them an email to acknoledge their purchase ect. But what you are describing sounds a little too much like just hooking up the advertiisng truck to whatever inbound payment email address you get. I think you would have better odds of making customers unhappy than happy with that. It sounds like a variation of We Will Sign You Up For Our Newsletter! No thanks...

In my case I sell electronic products on a website and use this to send instructions on how to use the product to the customer. I see your point and see the issues with this system. This could be used to if selling digital files. So using using it for products where the customer can expect a digital file it would be useful. Yes I agree that if I send a file to someone who purchased an item and did not expect a file, then that would be a long the lines of spamming. This would be a niche type product.
