Okay, I tried looking before I listed a few auctions for sale last week, and here I am after they automatically relisted. I DO NOT WANT ANY AUCTIONS TO AUTOMATICALLY RELIST. Yes I typed in all caps to make that point very clear. I have a few bicycles for sale, I thought I’d try ebay for the 7 day duration, and don’t want to be strong armed into selling here with an auction that relists by itself. Now one of them has a bid and the buyer messaged me that he wants to take it to a bike shop for evaluation before he actually buys it, I am not dealing with that headache and I can’t even cancel bids anymore or end auctions without being charged, I stated they needed some TLC / fixer uppers. I'm annoyed because this shouldn't have even been relisted here on ebay and I wouldn't be dealing with this right now.
I thought I looked well for a check box to unselect auto relist and could not find it. I presumed that was only for the fixed price listings, not the auctions since I did not see the check box, yet here they are relisted. Ebay has changed so much I can’t find it or the drop down menu for it.
Can someone tell me if this is possible anymore and how to do it?
Thanks
ebay was so much better 10 to 15 years ago. Listing items recently is a reminder why I stopped selling stuff here.

Thanks for the screenshot. Mine doesn't quite look like that. The only way I see the "pricing options menu", is if I click create a template, which I've never used ever. Maybe I'll try a template auction next time and see if that lets me shut off the auto relist, as the option is there in the template, but currently not sure if it actually lets you list it that way in the template.
This is what I see just using the "sell" button.

Well I can say for certain that the current three bicycle listings that are active on my page, automatically relisted by themselves. Auction style only, no buy it now at all.

That seems to be the case. I can only find that hidden menu in the template options, so not sure if that will work when actually listing or not yet. The regular create listing section does not seem to have that option, hence my items relisting. Thanks

Wanting to sell the item isn’t the point, I don’t want them to automatically relist themselves, that's basically it and it should be an option. Let's hypothetically say I had a yard sale this week, I’m not, but we thought about having a yard sale. Now say I thought the listing ended on the 21st of this month which they did, without bids, then say I sell the bike at my yard sale later that day or the 22nd or 23nd since it was the weekend. Now lets say the bikes relisted themselves and I was unaware since they did not sell and I watched them not sell, this time it takes a bid on ebay, but, I sell the bike at the yard sale thinking my auction was over, this makes it a can of worms opened. Granted, this is very, very unlikely to happen as I came to my ebay to make sure nothing sold and seen the bikes relisted themselves, but I just want some control over selling my items.
Listings didn’t use to auto relist like this, you could do good til cancelled last I remember, but that was for buy it now items, which was fine for some products / listings.

@irish2219 You have 2 auctions with no bids. You can go in and cancel those with no seller fees except any options you added.
The one with bids - if you dont want to sell it. You can go in and cancel the bids. Then cancel the auction. Again there should be no fees except any options you added.
Do this now. Dont let the auctions run closer to the completion date.

Are you certain I can cancel the bid and end the listing and not have any fees? I have been charged in the past for this, even an item I relisted and still sold on ebay after fixing an error in my listing.
That bidder has not responded to my reply about not wanting to deal with a bike shop evaluation before buying it. I asked him to retract his bid as I wasn't taking the bike in anywhere, but he hasn't responded.
How do I interpret this ebay information. The way I read it I will be charged. They say "may" be charged, but I see that as "will" be charged for doing it and their wording is not good.

@irish2219 Nothing is 100% but I know that if you dont remove bid and then cancel it will be worse.
