A few months ago, eBay apparently decided that its automated methods know better than sellers.
I have had literally scores of books re-categorized by eBay, and they're usually wrong.
For example, eBay decided to move:
"A Farewell to Manzar," which is a memoir of a Japanese-American girl's time in an internment camp during World War II, from Nonfiction to Textbook;
"Powder Burn: Arson, Money and Mystery on Vail Mountain" from Nonfiction to Textbook; and
Bill O'Reilly's "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity" from Nonfiction to God-Only-Knows-Where!
For about two months, eBay kept insisting on moving "Once Upon a secret : My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath" from Nonfiction to Children & Young Adults. (No, I'm not kidding!) But this one somehow got fixed after those months, which makes me think that it may be possible to notify them that they're wrong and get these situations remedied.
I absolutely do NOT want to have to call eBay's customer service, and there's no category which fits the problem, so I would not be able to do so if I wanted to.
So, is there a page or a form or something I can fill out for these? There are literally hundreds of them, and it's making me crazy!
Thanks.

Maybe try the catalog team? Seems like this should be their area if items are being put in the catalog in wrong categories.
There is a contact link for them at the bottom this page:

I have been a seller since 2003

I have the same problem and have complained to ebay. Their catalog changes categories after you make a listing. The catalog is often wrong and does not differentiate, 1st edition, paperbacks and hardcovers, and other important differences. In fact, they often have incorrect info, to begin with. They need to stop this and get whoever made this catalog to make corrections. I spend time doing research and laying out pages in html. I don't want a stupid system with bad info and lousy photos making changes to my listings.

Hi @millienocket, you can email examples to sdsupport@eBay.com and our Catalog team will review. Be sure to include the item number, the category the book should be in and the category that the book was moved to for reference.
