Auto relisting

If you have an item set up for auto relist, Does it auto relist up to 8 times and then can you manually relist it or do you have to enter an new listing for this item?  Also is there a way to turn OFF auto relist or is it only available when creating the listing for the first time?

I believe when you list an auction you need to uncheck the auto-relist function to turn it off.

I use fix price Good Til cancelled so my listings relist automaticly.
