Auto pay

Lately my auctions have been getting auto payer when ending even though I have gone and continue to check every auction prior to listing but they are still being auto payer when ending an it is starting to cost me buyers. Why is this happening?. Anybody have any idea.

@doma-15

Check your preferences here.  These are the combined shipping killers that eBay placed on all accounts.  They don't do anything until eBay ALSO enrolls the buyer ID into forced compliance to provide a payment source (also limited) prior to proceeding to bid or make an offer.

https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements

Buyer Rules:

*Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid.

*Require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer.

You can turn these off, and even if eBay forces the buyer ID into compliance, your buyers will not be affected any longer.

Be advised regardless of your settings, should you make offers or accept counter offers from a buyer, these will be treated as "immediate payment required" and require separate payments at full shipping price (no combining/invoicing) as well.

I have won auctions this month and last month.

My repeat seller who is not in 'auto-pay'...I got an 'auto-pay' from this seller payment countdown of 1 hour.

I notified seller because I buy multiple lots from the same seller.

They are not in auto-pay...per my seller calling eBay and getting an answer and emailing me.

This seems to be a 'test' of sorts.

My seller called eBay and got thru and thus when I won more auctions from same seller it wasn't happening again.

I really despise when eBay does token tests on certain buyers or sellers.

It could be the buyer and not the seller...we got a 'no' from eBay about this.

This will backfire on them badly I thought the three day b.s was bad this is worse

They are violating there own terms and services 4 day..

Not after the auction unless seller requires to do so or submit best offer.

If win something with this b.s I will call my credit card and have transaction blocked.

They need to start suspending or banning bidders.. This would solve the problem
