Authentication Program Jewelry

Hi to the seller community,

Does anyone know the answers to the following questions :

1) Who is responsible for the item that got lost in between the  Seller - to the Authenticator,  Authenticator - Buyer .

2) Who is responsible if during Authentication process the item is got damaged (broken), and how do seller can protect themselves from getting the blame like: "it was just like that, when we got it" ?

3) If the seller grade the diamond G, and GIA put H. Does it considering " wrong described item?"

4) What do buyer is getting from GIA after Authentication (certificates ?) can the seller get the copy of it, or something like a badge that their items are passing authentication  (we pay 15% not 12.5% )

Re: Authentication Program Jewelry

1) Who is responsible for the item that got lost in between

the Seller - to the Authenticator,

The Seller is.

Authenticator - Buyer .

Ebay does not specifically state who is ... see here...

What will happen if my item is damaged or lost in transit when it is shipped from the authentication facility to the buyer?

In the unlikely event your item is lost or damaged, please notify eBay Customer Support.

2) Who is responsible if during Authentication process the item is got damaged (broken), and how do seller can protect themselves from getting the blame like: "it was just like that, when we got it" ?

What will happen if my item is damaged or lost while in possession of the jewelry experts?

In the unlikely event your item is lost or damaged while in possession of the authentication facility, eBay will refund the buyer and will not seek reimbursement from you.

3) If the seller grade the diamond G, and GIA put H. Does it considering " wrong described item?"

Yes.

4) What do buyer is getting from GIA after Authentication (certificates ?) can the seller get the copy of it, or something like a badge that their items are passing authentication (we pay 15% not 12.5% )

No.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!
