If you're only getting $1 to $1.50, that tells you what that stuff is worth.

Have a great day.

Sounds like you need to really research selling AND have a better business plan.

Drop shipping stuff from China to the US is not a good business plan either.

We have enough cheap dollar store stuff.

Only you can help yourself.

They don't do any research or have any plans.

They watch to many YouTube videos on how to get rich selling on Ebay, and most of them are targeted to Sri Lanka.

Have a great day.

We've been selling on eBay for almost 20 years.

We have never begun an auction under $10. Nowadays, never under $14.

And, even then, we still occasionally lose.

Are you going to go though with those sales?

If you always start at one cent, then why would you be surprised when your auctions "end with a loss"?

Or to put it another way

What about items from your country? Traditional clothing, jewelry, crafts, etc?

Also auctions are no good anymore, unless you have something rare and desirable.

Your items are common. Easy to get.

People are only bidding to get them for $1 and free shipping.

I'm going to guess it's not as easy as it looks.

This is guaranteed to work.

Set your reserve price so that after all fees you make a $1,000 profit.

When the item sells, you will make a $1,000 profit.

@sigma_storelk

I’ll comment on one of your listings, although you’re going to have the same problem with any of your listings.

you have three animal posters, the current bidding is at $1.04.  If the item sells for $1.04, your eBay fees are going to be about $0.44.  Then whatever you’re having to pay the dropshipper for the item plus shipping added on to that.  This is not a sustainable business model for you.  You’re just going to continually lose money.

Hello and welcome.
If you could answer a few questions, it will help us to help you. And your fellow countrymen, many who are floundering.

What drew you to eBay as a way to make money? Was it a YouTuber? Did you pay someone to teach you how to sell on eBay? We have seen so many Sri Lankans drop-shipping items from China, and many new SL sellers appear to follow the same playbook. That book needs huge revisions.

Thank you for any insights you can offer.
