Hi eBay. I listed some items in auction method. These are got around 20 views by now. What are those? There are no watches count yet. What is the reason for that?
What are the mistake I done? Tell me about auction type listings

The difference is this for views, it is just how many times someone looked at your auctions.
Watchers are how many people have added your auction to their watch list. This allows a person to find your auction quickly.
A person adds another sellers auctions for several different reasons; to see if your item will sell and for how much because they have a similar one to list, they are comparing prices from several different sellers, they are contiplating buying your item, to name a few.
Both of these really mean nothing. If you use BIN you can send an offer to the watchers of your item and you might get a sale.
Hope this helps!

I noticed that you have listed one as an antique. I just want to give you what most American go by for the definition of antique. Here is what was given to be by a seller here, when I was seling antiques. It helped me a lot and kept me from getting item not as described cases.
The Smoot-Hawley Act of 1930 defined antiques to be 100 years old for purposes of import-export regulation and tariffs.
Most antique dealers use 100 years as the age an item should be to be called an antique. However, antiques dealers in other countries don't use the 100 years and use 50+ years.
Then there is vintage which means, "year" and originally was associated with wine. Vintage refers to item that are at least 20 years old. Lots of sellers misuse this word as they describe their items as vintage by itself. If using the word vintage, the year needs to be included. For example: Vintage 1950 Porcelain Doll with....
Let’s not forget the word circa, which is widely used when the dates of an item or events are not accurately known. For example: Japanese Samurai sword circa 1800….
However, what I posted here is not the hard rule. This helped me avoid any issues with buyers.
I will message you privately on other suggestions to your auctions. Welcome to selling.
Hope this helps!

None of your items are things I would list at auction. You should just come up with a competitive price and use a buy it now (BIN). Auctions are best left for oddball collectible and vintage items whose price is hard to discern and where the previously sold prices, if any, vary greatly. . And even then I tend to simply price things at the higher end of the trading range and allow for best offers.

" Let’s not forget the word circa, which is widely used when the dates of an item or events are not accurately known. For example: Japanese Samurai sword circa 1800…."
This is not entirely correct. The word Circa is Latin for around. It is a common and accepted practice for dealers and appraisers in the art and antique world to use this term to denote a date of plus or minus 10 years. Thus,\ circa 1900, would mean a date of between 1890-1910.

Sorry, the Latin word is circum, circa comes from that word.
