I listed a rather nice model DTI locomotive for a one week auction which shows up on my "active listings page." But it does not appear when you click on the "See other items" link from my active listings, from the "items for sale by me" link (here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/djvp53/m.html?item=363974111640&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2562), or when I do tailored searches for things like "DTI locomotive" in the model trains category. Any reason this particular listing seems to be getting squelched?

Thank you for providing the link. But without even clicking on it yet, I can tell you that indexing can take up to 24 hours. Also, revising a listing sends it to the back of the indexing queue.
Sometimes an listing is delayed because it gets sent to special indexing review, or does not get indexed at all, due to something setting off the bots that look for spam and illegal items -- it could be punctuation, an acronym, something as simple as the word ivory or having the words "Western" and "union" both in the same paragraph even if the words aren't together.

Please provide a link to the listing so we can check the details.

No views so far although it's only been about 12 hours.

Well, indexing time is probably the reason. I revised the listing shortly before it was supposed to go live to fix a typo. It seems to me that the database is the core of eBay's business and indexing it ought to happen quickly, even if it is quite large.
For what it's worth, the item seems to be searchable now. Thanks.
