Auction Buyers, Estate and Yard Sale Buyers, Any Amazing Finds Lately?

Good Morning Everyone,

Anybody find anything awesome lately? In the last month I found a Mink Coat for $5.00 that was perfect. Last weekend I found a 1950s 30 karot Imperial Jade and 22k gold ring and a 22k gold Chinese Insignia Good Fortune and Good Luck ring. Paid $4 for both of them. My jeweler estimated the value of both as at least $3000.00 . Needless to say my Wife had an amazing Valentines Day.

Please share some of your finds as I am always curious and we can hopefully have a non complaint post going.

I found a couple good items but I don’t want to share them here. Nothing like you found but I made 10X my investment. I’ll take those small sales any day. I’d be afraid to sell anything over $200 here.

Lately I've been on the other side of the equation: downsizing.

I've sold items I've paid 40 dollars for, for 20 dollars, etc.

Yes, I took a loss, but they hadn't moved (sold) in a year, so it was time to get rid of them and perhaps give someone else a chance to profit off them.

I understand that COMPLETELY. Last year, yes the entire year, 80% of my listings were "around to it" listings of slides and other items I said I would list once I got 'round to it. Wasn't my best year by far with the exeption of very few $$ went out for inventory costs
