Attn ebay, policing words in trading card titles makes some cards impossible to list.

Recently an "improvement" to trading card singles has started blocking the use of various words in the title that might suggest that the listing was for more than 1 card. One of those words is "Lot"

The problem with that is that those words appear in card names. According to Beckett there are 7531 cards with Lot in the name of the card. There are 114 different trading cards with "looks like" in the name. That is blocked too.  I am sure there are a whole "lot" more that I haven't even run into.

I can't sell the card if I can't put the name of it in the title and ebay can't get their money if I can't sell it. This isn't helping anyone, just leaving money on the table for ebay and for sellers, certainly isn't helping the customers.

Someone tag the ebay people in this, I have no idea how to do that.

Thank you for pointing this out.  With eBay's new emphasis on trading cards, I would be interested in what eBay staff involved in this have to say, or if they intend to correct erroneous "bot" takedowns, and when the corrections can be expected to happen. Maybe it is one of those things they will insist is "working as intended"?   Adjustments may happen more quickly if eBay tends to be losing money.

In the meantime, do you sell anyplace else?  Diversification does come in handy when eBay appears NOT to want your business.  The internet is a big place now, and eBay can no longer ride on the old thinking that they are the only and best place to sell one's product.

I am ebay only with cards. On the card specialty sites you have to compete against too many people willing to work for free.
