Attn: Clothes Sellers -- Are your Jackets/Coats Flying?

'Tis the fall season!  ...  My fall/winter coats just flew out of the door over the past week.  I wonder if other clothes sellers are experiencing this awesome sales pattern?  I am actually up 65% in sales from last month, however, still down 26% from last year this time.  I feel I am on an upswing though and I am very happy with eBay right now for being so good to me!

Happy for you! 🙂  I don't think I have any jackets listed, if I do, they aren't selling. LOL  But it's the right time to list them, our weather here in MN turned cold for a week, now went back to hot.  The heat won't last long, but I was happy to search for cooler items, nice to change the wardrobe!

Morning Michelle,

The weather is crazy here as well.  Cool last week and then very warm yesterday. You don't how to dress from day to day here.  But I think by next week we will be into more typical fall weather.

I'm not selling but I just bought one yesterday. It's in the 80s here today. I like to think ahead.

I really think it tends to do with brands and proper pricing. Some buyers are only looking for specific brands. Not every coat is equal! LOL!

Methinks a lot of other people are thinking ahead as well   Fine by me .. I hope they not only want coats/jackets, but bulky sweaters now as well.  It was beautiful here yesterday and supposed to be today as well, but this weather has been so unpredictable here (NJ).

Could someone please look at my jackets to see if they're priced ok? But it isn't just jackets. This month I have more than normal views on everything, but not a single sale since Sept 5.

July was decent, Aug I sold half as much, and Sept looks like it'll be cut in half again. I even listed Halloween and Christmas when I got a promo at the end of Aug.

Absolutely not! Lol. I have a quilted jacket in good condition I'm selling for less than $5 and people keep watching but no takers. After shipping and fees I'll be lucky to make a couple bucks off it, so I'll just have to keep relisting as there's no way I'm lowering the price further.

I also have other fall clothes (sweaters, fall pants) listed but again, no takers. Sales have slowed down a lot for me this month and the things I've been selling have either been summer clothes or not clothing at all.
