Too bad I can't attach gifs to ebay messages.
I have a buyer who sent me a message on a listing that has a price of $25. This buyer says "How about $12?"
If ebay allowed gifs, this would be my reply.

You have the choice to accept, to refuse, or to ignore.
Now that you have expressed your feelings, I would suggest the last.
And I agree with your thought.
I get occasional Offers below shipping cost. Fortunately most of my Best Offer options are set up with an automatic Accept/Reject.
EBay's standard Response for Reject must be polite, because often the customer will make two or three rejected offers before hitting the sweet spot and being accepted.

I could have used that on "What’s the lowest ull do"

hahahahaha, there are so many times I want to send that but alas I'm a business and have to act that way lol

That's when you ask them, how about $50?
I mean. If they want to pay half, you can instead ask for double, right? LOL
If I had a lowball offer, it would be either ignored, or BL and ignored. I don't entertain them. If they want to make an offer, many items I sell have the option. Go for it.
😄

You're not willing to give 52% off?
Well i'm not buying anything from YOU!!! 😉

It is a good way to avoid a misunderstanding. Sarcasm is not always appreciated by the one you might direct it at. Funny to you, not to them.

Send a counteroffer with your best price. It's always better to keep it professional.

I'd simply reply with $22.

By now you already know about the auto-decline setting, so you don't really need to read any lowball offers below your selling minimum, but if you were determined to use that anyway, I would just do a screenshot of the end of the GIF, which summarizes it pretty well (assuming that the reader knows who Dr. Evil is in the first place):

Thank you 🙏 for putting this wonderful gif on eBay.
I copied it and really looking forward to using it whenever next I get to tell someone NO.

I don't understand. Why would you intentionally create conflict with another member? You think this kind of response to them will be received well?
I get it that the buyer sent a ridiculously low offer. I get them too. I simply tell them NO or ignore their message. But I would never intentionally try to create an issue with the buyer. That has ways of going all kinds of bad and cause harm to the seller. Even if you block this buyer, you know it is easy for them to create another ID and purchase from you.
I simply don't understand why to purposely do something like this. I do however understand the sentiment. Some buyers can be beyond annoying. It is just always been part of our job to deal with them.
I get it that most are posting just trying to let off steam. But unfortunately there will be those that are not and let that steam off on the buyer.
I respect the sarcasm and the fun of the thread. I really do as I've been a seller a long time and experienced what others have experienced with some out of line buyers.
