Hello All,
Yesterday we received and email telling us that an item we only had one of, that sold 2 mos ago, could not be re-listed since it violated Cal's assault weapons regs. After looking elsewhere on Ebay, found a seller that actually sold 64 of them and had more, but they haven't bothered him at all. Yet we get a spanking TWO MONTHES!!! after selling just one! Believe it or not, they've been selling in California for 11 yrs.

I'm not quite certain what it is that you are asking or complaining about. Are you trying to list more of the items that you sold two months ago? If the item is currently banned from sale in California there is nothing that eBay can do to allow you to sell it there.
With regard to the other seller, how do you know that he hasn't received an email from eBay about it or is going to in the near future?

Hi. If you did not know, assault weapon parts are not allowed.
"Not allowed
I don't know the other seller. I'd need to see an item number to see why he's slid under the radar for so long. Some people get caught on their first prohibited listing. And some may never get caught. I do know you shouldn't list an item because you see others for sale. Their item could be prohibited. Report items you see that are prohibited.
eBay goes by California Codes as to what denotes an assault weapon. https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201520160SB880
Here's a specific list of rifles, shotguns and pistols defined as assault weapons. It's not a guarantee if it's not on the list it's allowed. You would have to refer to the above CA code.

Since we're not running for office, what's your point in condemning for the past? How far back do you plan on going? Why isn't your effort used on sellers doing what you prohibit?
