I purchased some expensive items and am listing them for sale on eBay. My question is this. I, as the original purchaser with the receipt, can use the warranty. Can I give the buyer a copy of my purchase receipt to use if the time malfunctions? The warranty language states the receipt is required.

It depends on the manufacturer's policy; in most situations a warranty is not transferable.

As eburtonlab mentioned some of it depends on the manufacturers policy it may also depend on what the item is. I have a number of things that have a lifetime warranty that is transferable from owner to owner without a receipt.
I have also filed a number of warranty claims for items that I no longer had the receipt for. I sent those to the company and in most cases they replaced the item with a new one or gave me a merchandise credit gift type card.
