As a seller how to display ID only to my buyers?

I'm trying to sell couple of virtual items, but don't really want my informations to show..

I noticed (When I'm buying) In my paypal receipts:

Some only display their ebay ID.

Some people only display their full names.

I don't think I've seen any full addresses exposed since like 2018(?)

and I want to make sure my name, address is not exposed to buyer.

I googled this, and most of answers were like "your name will show at some point" and told them to upgrade to business account. My paypal account is not a business account, but it's verified with ITIN/SSN.

A PayPal business account will allow you to change how your name is displayed to the buyer. You can choose to display your eBay ID, a business name or your real name.

You have buyers info but you don't want buyers to have yours? That is very fishy/sketchy.They will not get your address or email but they will get your name and can request your phone number.Buyers have the right to know who they are buying from

My full name isn't really necessary since it's virtual item. Not physically shipping them.

I mean, I was looking thru my receipt and noticed some people not even have their names displayed. so I was just wondering how I could do that.

Thank you for that link actually, I was about to ask that too. since I only sold 1 physical goods in the past. I don't have any experience.

As a seller how to display ID only to my buyers?

Hi, so I just read up on it. I am trying to sell online gaming virtual items.
It says "Sellers not approved by eBay to list electronically delivered items need to list their items in the Everything Else > Information Products category in the classified ad format. Exceptions to this policy include electronically delivered: Online gaming virtual items "
So I fall under the exception to this policy. Where does that lead me?
Am I allowed to put it in "Video Games & Consoles>Video Game Merchandise" like other sellers?

What exactly are you looking to sell? If it's access to gaming accounts or codes that's against not only eBay's policy, but also manufacturers' terms of use.

The virtual items allowed are things like tradeable accessories and the category you mentioned is appropriate for those items.

@chanyuc

To sell digital item the right way, you need to be approved and you have to own the rights to sell them.

If it's something you didn't make, you can't sell it.

Have a great day.
