Making this listing for a sugar bowl, AI bots suggest the theme should be Bowling. Love it.

Could be possible AI is channeling the Saint Franciscan? (Saint of the 7/10 split) YMMV

The way I used to bowl, I think my ball was shaped like that. 😀

You just have to love A.I., Look what we can look forward too. It is good for a laugh if nothing else.

I really enjoyed the replies so far, which put a smile on my face...
All the humor aside, AI still has a loooooong way to go before I will totally trust its use here at eBay. I see a lot of totally disconnected AI "reasoning" when it comes up with some of the stupidest Item Specifics suggestions.
SMH... but distrusting a lot of what I see AI doing, as I instead do eBay's AI job for them with my own accurate, comprehensive details with Item Specifics and full Item Descriptions when I list my items.
The latest ridiculous eBay AI idiocy is seeing a seller's listing that also uses AI for item descriptions. I would rather see an item description where the seller has actually taken the time to properly describe their item without all the fluff that does nothing more than promote a generalized praise.
I don't trust those canned AI item descriptions and won't buy the item. They usually include something like, "... a must-have for any enthusiast's collection...". Yeah, right... I'll buy from someone else who goes to the effort of an accurate item description instead of trusting a non-human to say nothing of value to me.
So there!
Cheers, Duffy

It must be a default from ebay. I usually catch that the theme is bowling, but not always. But if someone is indeed searching for a bowling bowl...

Is it possible that this example is not AI - but just eBay's old, relatively primitive word association program that cannot distinguish context? (For many years now when I list items with "New Jersey" in the title, eBay suggests country/region of manufacture as "Jersey", that is, the UK islands.)
AI, as I understand it, is now much more advanced and capable than confusing a sugar bowl with a recreational activity. I hope this is not it.

Bowling with ceramics? Sounds like phenomenal fun. Would the sugar bowl be the ball or the pins? A broken mess no matter what.

Exactly that same thing that dogged us in CSA IS's for years b/c any time we entered the color Blue or Silver in our titles, it would activate the IS for Character & apparently there are some cartoon characters named Blue & Silver. I have yet to understand why IS's for adult people clothing even HAS an IS for Character, but these ridiculous entries drove us crazy for several years & it had nothing to do with AI.
